Akin Ross Is a Seasoned Professional with 15 Years of Experience in Business Management

Akin Ross is a seasoned professional having 15 years of experience in sales and business management. He has attained a documented track record of sustained success in the business industry. He has worked with a number of renowned organizations since 2002. He joined Boys & Girls Club Inc., Rochester, NY in 2002 as an Assistant Director. Later in 2007, he joined Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Rochester, NY as the Branch Manager. In 2012, he became the Vice President/ Branch Manager of JP Morgan Chase Bank, Rochester, NY; where he led a team of three or more than bankers that executed all the sales activities. 

Currently, Akin Ross is working with Raymour & Flanigan Furniture, Rochester, NY as Regional Inventory Control Manager. He is responsible for handling a team throughout Rochester, takes care of the inventory, and builds maintenance and safety compliancy within the region inventories. He is also in charge of training and development processes, and carries out monthly audits, safety compliance, property management, and cross audits in other regions.

Akin has received many awards and honors in his career. He is a Black Scholar and has won Athlete of the year, Greece Arcadia High School. He won the Leadership Award at the Enterprise Rent-a-Car, and Upstate New York Leader of the Month Award at Raymour & Flanigan.

During his free time he likes to play golf, and mentor youth in football and basketball. He is also the Vice President of Westside Scorpions, a youth football organization.

Akin Ross is a New York based business professional with more than a decade of experience under his belt. He started his career at Boys & Girls Club Inc., as an Assistant Director, where he oversaw daily operational activities. After that, he served as a Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where his duties comprised of the following: Managing training, selection as well as the development of both the management trainees and assistant branch managers. Responsible for performing both the inside and outside sales by Marketing Enterprise in order to gain additional business growth and opportunities. Taking care of the development of the branch employees and management. He was also responsible for the training and education of the new employees in various areas of duties, company policy, and job expectations.
